Job Description

Understand all technical aspects of product line. Identify potential customers. Consult with customers, identifying needs and explaining benefits of product line. Negotiation of contract terms. Perform site surveys. Work with local/city/state governing authorities and install companies to coordinate successful installation and implementation of product.

Essential Functions

  • Keep current on all technical aspects of our product line.
  • Identify potential customers within strategic markets.
  • Travel (nationally and/or locally) as required throughout strategic markets to perform site surveys and coordinate successful installation and implementation of product.
  • Coordinate product installation projects between sales, tech service, customers and install partners.
  • Oversee installation schedules, insuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Work with local/city/state governing authorities and install companies.
  • Build rapport with installation companies, to grow install partner resource base.
  • Work with customers and company engineers to ensure product meets customer needs.
  • Communicate with sales to understand customer needs and offer support when necessary.
  • Work with Technical Solutions service professionals for install coordination.
  • Work with company engineers, sales, and Technical Solutions service professionals on product modifications necessary to meet customer needs.
  • Teach product knowledge to customers, including but not limited to technical presentations.
  • Build rapport with customers to assist with product trouble shooting and proper usage.
  • Provide follow up contact to customer.
  • Maintain positive attitude and diligent work ethic.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
  • Recommends changes in product design and service by evaluating product trouble shooting and install process.
  • Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Three or more years’ experience in project management and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – verbal, presentation and written.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient computer and typing skills.
